22 nov 07; engineering camp
I'M BACK
the camp was fun.we went to seletar east camp for the camp.anw,we were suppose to go there.haha.
there were people from different district joining the camp,excluding air and sea though.we had to go to ncc HQ to assemble.the total strength for the course was 47 if i could rmb it correctly.hah.we made our way to seletar camp after taking attendance and whatsoever stuff.i made some new friends.one of them was from deyi.seriously,he can talk a lot lah sia.hah.upon reaching seletar camp,we were divided into groups.mixed of cause.me and fadhli were in the same grp.the SAF specs were quite friendly.the ice breaking game was quite boring but at least i enjoyed the game a little.after that,we had lunch at the cook house.many SAF people/officers were looking at us.lyk ''whoa,staff sergeant sia'' or whatever.tsk.they were so lame.no offence.obiviously,i guessed they were sooo surprise.haha.night time was the best.i get to sleep finally.haha.some people stayed up in the night bcs they were chatting with their gf or whatsoever.lights out was at ten,but no one seems to care about it.
second day early in the morning,we had what they called five bx or whatever.but in my term,its PT.the RSM for the joined the PT as well.we had jogging around the three kilometre jog around the campus.it was fun.how i hoped that the distance would be longer.hah.we get to know more about the equiment that they used.i can say it was very coool.yeah yeah.we even had a chance to learn how to operate a assault boat.wuuuhoo!!
the third day was probably the best.we had games.like paddling the boat to the other side,detecting the fake mine,orenteering around the campus.orenteering was the best among all the actvity.we were in the middle of somewhere and we were lost.haha.we walked a long distance.literally.though we lost the orenteering game , we some how gained some experience.there was camp fire in the night.fadhli was crowned mr ncc engineer.
last day,we had our out processing and admin stuffs.and yeah,i went to accompany matthew to beach road cause he wanted to buy his name tag and the singapore tag.and i finally got my engineering badge.and i just found out that i'll be starting work on monday.like WTH.things always come when i didnt want it to.when i wane WORK SO BAD,i didnt get what i wanted.now that i dn wish to work after all the waiting,i got a call to tell me that i can start work on monday.WTH.DAM IT lah.
